It’s Tuesday, but we are going to pretend it’s Monday so I don’t feel bad posting a “Coffee Talk Mondays” post. HA! Although, I don’t hate that we are a day closer to Friday! 😉 Gosh, the last time I did a Coffee Talk Monday post was before Alex proposed to me!!!! Today, we celebrate a month of engagement! It has FLOWN by so fast. Now that the Holiday season is done, it’s time to pick up the pace again. 🙂
The past month was nice to step away from the computer and reduce screen time. Although, there wasn’t that much time away from the computer despite what my blog proves to show! It has been a busy winter season so far with wedding planning (AH!!!), meetings with new couples, editing, album designing, networking, emails, etc. I’m grateful to be in Florida away from the cold snow because I’m getting a lot of business and personal work done. 🙂
Now that I’m back in the groove, I have some goals this week to keep myself accountable … Better blogging schedule!!! Network/reach out to five different Florida vendors per day, keep up with daily emails, finalize three weddings (just about done with Ryan and Paige’s wedding!!), entryway makeover in Alex’s house, and book our wedding caterer (hopefully!!)!!!! Enough with the to-do list … Let’s catch up since the last personal blog post a month ago!!!

156 MORE DAYS!!!!!
Has it really been a month since Alex popped the question?! WOW. The time has flown by and there’s soooooo much to do!!! I cannot wait to marry my best friend!!! HOLY COW! I cannot believe I get to say that! <3 PINCH ME! It’s a lot to plan a large party, and I’m getting a taste of what my couples go through… I’m not sure how they do it!! HA! But I’m enjoying this time with my fiance (heehehe!)!!! <3
On a side note — Of course, my #2018bestnine would involve Alex in almost every post!!! 😉 HAHA!
I finally got my hands on my camera to take a photo of the ring Alex selected! I cannot get over it. It’s a beautiful reminder of what is to come!!!!
I love my little family!!! <3
Some sweet Christmas gifts. <3 A beautiful personalized ring box (perfect for wedding detail photos!!), a canvas from our proposal, and a book I’m SO stoked to read, The Meaning of Marriage!!!
WE HAVE A DATE and a VENUE!!!!! Let the planning begin!

FAMILY & FRIEND TIME
I put work to the side during the Holidays to enjoy time with family (including my new family!!!!) and friends. 🙂Â
This was fun!!!! The evening Alex and I came home from Florida for Christmas, we had both families come together to celebrate our engagement! Because Alex was only going to be home for the week, I decided to pick up cake samples from our wedding baker (Gateau!!) to do a taste test with EVERYONE! 🙂 We cut up cupcakes and created a spread around the plate for everyone to eat together and decide which one was their favorite. Chocolate mocha won!!!! YUM.

HIKES WITH OLLIE
I cannot help but laugh at these photos below!!! The left was Ollie’s first hike on Buzzard’s Rock. On his first Birthday, which occurs on Christmas Eve, we took him to the same spot and tried to recreate the photo… 😉 HA!Â
He’s such a good boy after a tiring work out!!!

GETTING BACK INTO THE SWING OF THINGS
Work picked up right after Christmas with three weddings in two weekends. It’s unusual to have so many winter weddings close together, but they were incredible celebrations!! Now I’m finalizing edits to send out and making a winter business goals list! 🙂 Also, I LOVED photographing with some sweet friends at Taylor and Sarah’s wedding!!! Such a fun day!
ESPRESSO MOMENTS
THE BITTER MEMORIES FROM THIS PAST MONTH
1
SLEEPLESS NIGHTS WITH OLLIE
HOLY MOLY. Talk about training to future motherhood… While traveling with Ollie, he proved that he isn’t the best roommate. I didn’t provide a crate for this monster at night for the trips to and from Florida and that was a mistake. He was VERY restless, barked, scratched, jumped on and off the bed, cried… I was ready for solid sleep after those trips!!!Â

NEW YEAR CELEBRATION FROM AFAR
I didn’t get to spend New Year’s Eve with this handsome guy this year. Much different compared to last year’s festivities, but it’s okay because we will have many more to celebrate in the future. <3

BATH & BODY WORKS CANDLES
I LOVEEEEE Bath and Body Works candles!!! Alex quickly found out that he cannot put a lid on to snuff out the candle because the lid will melt to the jar. After prying it off and successfully shattering the candle jar (LOL!), I tried to enjoy the candle as much as possible… You’re better off buying a new one. 😉 I HIGHLY recommend checking out the Hot Cocoa scent!!!! OHHHHH MYYYYYY GOODNESS. YUM.
I hope this week starts off on a great note for you!!! XOXO!!!
