Best of 2018 | Virginia + Florida Family Portrait Photographer

I cannot believe it’s 2019!!! With the new year means lots of changes ahead, personally and business-wise! 🙂 But before there is change, I love taking this time of the year to reflect on the past twelve months. I like to see what I can improve, but I also really enjoy seeing the positive results from the hard work I’ve put into my business. One way I love to celebrate is to look back through photos and pick some of my favorites!!! Although, it can be challenging to cull through the hundreds of photos I’ve taken… Not an easy task! But every time I look back through a session, memories flood back from the connection and relationship I built with that couple/family. 🙂 It has been an incredible journey and I’m looking forward to continuing family/lifestyle sessions over the years ahead in both Virginia and Florida!

This series is the start of the “Best of 2018” so I hope you enjoy looking through these photos as much as I did photographing them!! Every person has a different story to share and I love that their story was documented through my lens for them to hold on to forever. 🙂 Whether that was a miracle pregnancy or celebrating weight loss or surviving a rough season. These photos hold more value than what it shows from an outsider point of view and I’m grateful to have been a part of that celebration. Isn’t it crazy how much impact a photograph can have on a person? I’m always amazed. <3 I am excited to document new and old friends this year as we gear up for the spring season soon!!!
