I’m currently sitting in a coffee shop hiding… I’ll admit that I’m not good with people or animals going through pain. Maybe I’m too empathetic, but I got a phone call an hour ago from the vet saying that Ollie is done with his procedure. He’s officially gender-neutral! HA! I’m trying to make light of the situation, but I’m hiding out because I don’t want to see Ollie in his current state. He was anticipated to get neutered last Tuesday but the local shelter turned him away when they couldn’t find one of his “man goods.” What was supposed to be a $175 bill turned into $660. My vet found it in his tummy but Ollie is walking away with three incisions because they had to go gold mining to find it. Ollie is out of commission for 7-10 days with very minimal walking. I asked how am I supposed to ensure he will be okay with minimal activity and they told me tranquilizers… GUYS. I’m not ready to be a fur parent. I cannot imagine tranquilizing Ollie to keep him from going bonkers. This is why I’m hiding out until the last minute when I’m allowed to pick him up. In fact, I’m having my sister meet me for moral support to go pick him up… Call me a wimp. I don’t care! 😉 I’m so grateful I’m marrying a doctor because Lord knows I cannot handle medical stuff… Please tell me I’m not the only one?!
Anyways, this past week has been a good one because I have a lot going on but it’s all very manageable!!! 🙂 I’m currently fixing up my house for it’s first showing next weekend (just about done!!!), pre-packaging my client gifts/packages, wedding planning, and working on my business schedule. 🙂 Shaping up to be a great start to the spring season!!
Let’s catch up with some highlights from this past week!!!

LOVE MY COWORKERS!!!
Since I don’t work in an office, making time to get together with my friendors doesn’t happen as often as I would like. But when it does happen, we have the best time!!! I’m very grateful for this slower season to see and catch up with industry friends!!
I was a part of the Morais Vineyard Show this past weekend and got to hang out with some of my favorite people!!! 🙂 One of my favorite parts was ending it with a Girl Scout cookie wine tasting!!! YUM! It was delcious … Of course!!! Highly recommend this unique experience at Morais!!!

Here’s a quick idea for budget cautious brides — Only buy enough Save the Dates for immediate family for a keepsake!
