The days are flying by at this point. How can we add more hours to the day?? I wish I could feel more on top of my game, but on the other hand, I’m SO excited that the days are flying by because it’s one more day closer to seeing Alex!!! <3 I cannot WAIT. I’m going to keep this post short and sweet because I have a lot to conquer today/this week. 🙂 So let’s dive into what I’ve been up to on a personal note —

Sweet friends of mine are starting to shower us with love and we feel SO loved!!! But I have to laugh because I saw a Reese and Hershey package and thought, “And so it begins!” It’s pretty comical that I had Alex take full reigns of the registry because these two items were on it! Soooooo I have a feeling we will be set with chocolate after the wedding. 😉 HA!

There’s a lot on my plate right now, but I’m so grateful for the SWEETEST couple everrrrr!!! I give the glory to God for giving me this opportunity to serve and love my couples the best way possible. Whether that is through a great experience together or showing them gratitude through handwritten cards/gifts, I’m so grateful for a full-time career doing what I love to do! Even though things are a little crazy between getting my house ready to move, wedding planning, and running a full-time business by myself, I love humble reminders! The sweet love notes I’ve been receiving from my couples lately have been SO encouraging. <3

And the gifts have been so thoughtful!!! My sweet friend, Lindsay, gifted me pretty PJs and this bucket list book!!! Cannot wait to read it!! Also, how CUTE is this gift from my couple, Rae and Eric?! This Yeti mug WILL be used at the beach when I move next month!!!! AH! I’m already excited!!!!

BALANCE? WHAT IS THAT?

Free time is VERY minimal at this point right now, but I’m trying my best to squeeze in a little personal time throughout the week! Saturday before a wedding, I met with my beautiful friend, Brittney, for breakfast! Gosh, I needed it so much … I’ve basically become a hermit to get my work done. On the flip side, I want to see and spend quality time with family and friends before the big move soon … So it’s a hard spot to be in when I feel like there aren’t enough hours in the day to get my to-do list conquered while having special time with loved ones. After another long, yet productive day of work yesterday, I managed to squeeze in the Game of Thrones finale with Ollie. 🙂 Great way to end the weekend! I cannot believe it’s doneeeee! WHAT?!

THE BITTER MEMORIES FROM THIS PAST WEEK

You know, you always hear that “something happens” while wedding planning — Fortunately, it had nothing to do with the wedding itself, but more the rehearsal logistics. After finagling all last week trying to figure out how to make everything work out as originally planned, I think we are all set! 🙂 WHEW. I’m only writing this because I wanted to share a quick note that wedding planning isn’t perfect! There’s a LOT that goes into it and I’m not how there are brides out there who want to be a wedding planner after planning their own wedding. I’m a pretty organized and creative gal, but it’s s0 much work!! I also realized that I cannot be shy to accept/ask for help. 🙂 I’m learning a lot from this process and I’m glad I know the stresses my couples go through to make it happen!
