As Alex and I prepare for our Thailand honeymoon next week (EEEEPPPPPP!!), I thought this would be a great opportunity to reminisce and FINALLY share some photos from the “other side!” 🙂 I cannot believe it has already been three months since we tied the knot!! I absolutely LOVE being married to my best friend and thank God every day for Alex. <3
When it came to planning our engagement session, we knew the timing was going to be tricky since Alex lived in Florida and he was only going to be in Virginia for a few days before the wedding. Fortunately for our sweet friend/photographer, Annamarie Akins, she was flexible enough to make this happen for us!! I couldn’t be more grateful for her enthusiasm and willingness to share this beautiful chapter with us. <3 I was also grateful for Alex being so willing to make this happen too — It was a CRAZY week while we did the inevitable last-minute wedding stuff and packed up my home. It meant so much that this session happened and now we have these photos to hold on to forever! Even Ollie got to join us for some of these photos. <3 Although, it was a bit challenging working with him because he wanted to run off and play, but I love that Anna captured his epic side tongue!
