I was happy when the Faulkner family reached out to me to have fall family portraits done and celebrate their little one’s first Birthday! 🙂 I am sure her sweet parents realized that the time with her was going by way too fast. What better time to capture this current stage of her life than now? 🙂 Photography can do that! I was so thrilled our calendars allowed us to meet up and connect. After all, it’s the busiest season for photography in Northern Virginia … and also my favorite. 🙂 Despite it being so crazy. And the Faulkner family couldn’t have picked a more perfect fall day for their portraits!!!
As we wandered around while taking photos, I got to chat and get to know them a little better since it was our first time meeting. 🙂 I love how my business connects me with the sweetest couples/families!! I was grateful the Faulkner family was able to make this session happen with Bryan’s crazy travels. I loved briefly talking to him about Alex and my recent adventures in Thailand after he mentioned that he will be visiting soon. I know it cannot be easy to travel while having a family back in Virginia, but I’m sure these photos mean so much, especially during those times when distance stands in between them. <3 These photos make me so happy!
