I’ve been working so hard to clear off my computer and I’m only one wedding away from being 100% done with the fall season!! 🙂 So proud of myself because I’ve been spending countless hours in front of the computer during the weekdays trying to deliver photos to my sweet couples/families. This week will be a nice change of pace because once I deliver my last wedding, I’ll be working on lots of pretty packages!! 🙂 One more step closer to spending Thanksgiving with my family without anything looming over my head. I cannot WAIT! Also, this season on the blog is fun because the pace will also look a lot different. More posts about travels, DIY projects, and personal stuff … like finally a post about Alex and my WEDDING day!! 🙂 I love this time of the year for more reasons than one!! Just see below!
THE SWEETER MEMORIES FROM THIS PAST MONTH
Alex and I are SOOOOO excited to have the “Aunty Stephy and Uncle Alex” roles as we watch Alex’s twin brother and his wife become parents. <3 You might recognize Andrew and Kate from their maternity portraits we did here in Destin, Florida, and they welcomed an early arrival last Friday with Amelia making her big debut!!! I don’t think I’ve seen anything more beautiful or precious in my life! She really is an absolute ANGEL and Kate is seriously a supermom. I’ll be referring to her when Alex and I want to start a family in the future. 🙂 WE LOVE THEM SO MUCH!!!!
Congrats, brother and sis!!! <3
CHRISTMAS IS HERE EARLY!!!
Welp! Over the weekend while Alex was in San Diego meeting our new niece, I decided to decorate the house for Christmas a week early! 🙂 🙂 🙂 I could hardly wait to decorate our home for our first Christmas as a married couple! Although, it’s pretty funny seeing a fake tree with snow on it next to a planted palm tree in our Florida home … Should we have considered decorating the palm tree as a Christmas tree? HAHA! I’ll have to post photos soon for you to make that call. 😉
Also, I’m digging the fun Christmas pants this year!! 🙂 What a better way to get into the spirit while decorating in fun pants? HAHAHA!
THE SLOWER SEASON
I’m soaking in these slower moments when we aren’t hustling in different directions. Ollie definitely appreciates it too!!! 🙂 I’m currently reading a couple of books, one of them is 168 Hours — Oh my gosh, SOOOO good!!!! It’s a time management book and I’m learning so much in just the 50 pages I’ve read so far. Add it to your shopping cart!! SERIOUSLY.
THE BITTER MEMORIES FROM THIS PAST WEEK
I could complain about the neighborhood bear ripping through trash cans and spilling trash in our yard or the time that Ollie escaped his harness and chased a neighbors cat into a sewer last week in front of the elderly woman … Butttttt, I’m going to disregard that this happened and move on with my week on a positive note. 😉 HAHAHAHA!
