Howwwwww is it that next week is CHRISTMAS?! It’s my favorite time of the year and it doesn’t even feel like it with all of the traveling this season. But I’m hoping to go into Christmas mode ASAP with fun annual Christmas traditions!! 🙂 I just got back from a trip last night which means that today and tomorrow will be busy busy catching up with work while packing for the next Virginia trip on Wednesday. WHEW. To be honest, I’m ready to be at home with Alex in Florida settled in for a while after 11 trips since the beginning of July. Where’s another cup of coffee? Haha! As busy as it was, 2019 overflows with unforgettable memories with Alex, family, and friends. So as tired as I am, there are so many things to be grateful for! 🙂 Like some of these recent memories below!!

MOCHA MOMENTS
THE SWEETER MEMORIES FROM THIS PAST WEEK
1
SWEET AMELIA. <3
Oh, sweet Amelia! Alex and I could hardly wait to see her! Alex met her when she first entered this world a month ago, and it was my turn to meet Andrew and Kate’s precious angel. I got a little glimpse of the newborn world and Andrew and Kate are doing an amazing job as first-time parents!! Amelia is so very blessed to be surrounded by SO many who already love and adore her more than she will ever know. <3 I cannot wait to see the woman she becomes in the future. But until that happens, I took photos of this newborn stage while she’s still a wee little one, and my heart could explode! She’s absolutely beautiful and we love her so much!!! I think Samson (her furry brother) agrees too. 😉

CHRISTMAS FUN!
Even though the past two weeks have been out and about, I was able to enjoy some fun Christmas festivities with my family as well as my new family! 🙂 Festivities like seeing the Army Band in DC (AMAZING) with my mom, watching the Warrenton Christmas parade with Alex’s family, photographing my eight annual Christmas mini sessions, and maybe a new tradition of gingerbread house making competition with Alex’s family! Haha!

DUNE SUNSET
While visiting my in-laws in California, we took advantage of a beautiful evening by driving out to the Hugh T. Osborne Park! I have never seen anything like this before and already want to go back to take photos! 🙂 We even saw a couple in wedding attire taking photos and it was beautiful watching her dress flow in the wind. I cannot wait to go back and maybe even dune buggy around the dunes!

THE BITTER MEMORIES FROM THIS PAST WEEK
1
THIS IS FOR OLLIE…
I cannot really say that meeting my sister’s new Doberman pup (Zuko) was a “bitter memory” … In fact, it was definitely a highlight … But I’m putting this memory from this past week under the “bitter memory” part of this blog post for Ollie because I’m sure he was so jealous by the snuggle action I had with Zuko! Haha! Although I think he was really enjoying his alone time with Alex. 😉 I cannot wait for Ollie and Zuko to meet each other next week!!!
I hope everyone is getting into the Christmas spirit this week!! 🙂 If I don’t end up blogging next Monday because I’m spending time with my family, I hope you have a very MERRY CHRISMAS!!!
