What a week!!! So much happened and I know that this week will be the same as I prepare for friends to visit this month!! šŸ™‚ So excited!!!

MOCHA MOMENTS
THE SWEETER MEMORIES FROM THIS PAST WEEK

1
BONNIE + KYLE ARE MARRIED!!!!

As I put this post together, I realized I didn’t take any photos of the bride and groom on my phone! AH! Talk about unplugging… I took the guest role a little too seriously and had WAY too much fun. šŸ˜‰ Alex looked so dapper and we had the best time enjoying oysters, drinking, and dancing at the beautiful Gibson Inn in Apalachicola, Florida! This crew is so much fun!!! Our waitress was great too but her serving hand was a bit heavy with the wine pours. šŸ˜‰ See what I mean below!!! I think she took care of us… šŸ˜‰

BACHELOR FINALE + HOME PROJECTS

I love this season so much (especially in Florida where it doesn’t get quite as cold as Virginia!). I’ve been working on a lot of projects while trying to make time for myself. šŸ™‚ Even if that means watching the Bachelor. Ha! I cannot WAIT to find out what happens this week!!! Although, I have suspicions … Talk about “the most dramatic season ever!” šŸ˜‰

I’ve been working on house projects as well ā€” Like painting and organizing. šŸ™‚ Goodbyeeeeee, PURPLE paint!!!!

HAMMOCK TIME

I loved welcoming Alex back home from a long day of work on Friday and relaxed in our hammock. šŸ™‚ I’m soaking up as much time as I can before things get CRAZY. Also … can you tell that Alex is doing Mustache March? Ohhhhh boy. šŸ˜‰

THE BITTER MEMORIES FROM THIS PAST WEEK

OH, BEAR!

Last week, there was a momma and baby bear outside of our house! Yikes!!! Alex and I had NO idea there was a baby way high in the tree … and no clue a momma bear was also running around. They are cute but I definitely ran back inside and watched safely from inside as the baby climbed down while the momma spotted it. šŸ™‚

HURRICANE DAMAGE

It was surreal driving through Panama City and Mexico Beach over the weekend. I remember hearing a hurricane was heading towards Alex 1.5 years ago when Hurricane Michael decided to shift 2-hours east of him at the last minute … THANK GOODNESS it didn’t take out Destin, FL because the devastation is real. The right photo was a building at Tyndall Air Force base. Crazy. It saddens me to think about what this area experienced.
