I am slowly but surely going through the entire 2019 wedding season and sharing some of my FAVORITE photos! So many great memories with my couples. <3 And today, I am sharing my favorite Virginia + Florida bride and groom wedding portraits!!! I don’t know how I was able to curate it down to just this gallery below… It was challenging because I adore each of these couples in different ways.

When it comes to wedding portraits on the big day, this can either be super easy-going or crunch time! I’ve been trained to handle each of these scenarios! I want to deliver a variety of pictures, no matter how much time we have. 🙂

This part of the day is fun because I get to share the joy, excitement, and happiness with my couple! Whether it’s during their first look, or newlywed portraits after the ceremony, or for sunset pictures. We have a lot of opportunities to make photos happen throughout the big day!! It also stems back to our final meeting when we discuss in great detail what portrait time looks like. Maybe they have a favorite spot that has a harsh lighting situation. But by keeping that in mind, I can make it happen during the sunset so we aren’t wasting time. Or maybe we need to adjust the reception timeline so we can run outside for 5-10 minutes for the sunset! Creating a personalized timeline in advance ensures we have time to make this happen.

One last thought…

One thing I’ve been loving this past year are veils! Even more so after my wedding. Talk about bringing the ENTIRE look together to feel like a true bride!!! But I also love that we can utilize it in so many ways for the portraits. Whether that is to create flow and movement or simply add texture. I know for myself, I liked having it cover my arms in case I clamped them to my sides. Haha! I hope it never goes out of style. 🙂 On a side note — Megan had a unique version of a veil “wings” that I LOVED! You’ll see her photos below, but otherwise, you can check out more about her dress HERE!

Enjoy checking out some of my favorite Virginia + Florida bride and groom wedding portraits from 2019!

Cheers, to love!
