JUNE. Wow. How is it already half way through 2020? It has been one bizarre year in this world and it unfortunately doesn’t seem to improve. My heart aches for this world, but I’m also reminded to seek gratitude! This month is an eventful one with plenty to be grateful for…
1) My business is turning EIGHT years old in a few days!
2) I’m turning 32 years old on June 5th! I’m grateful for another year, but 32 … AH! How are the years really flying by so quickly?!
3) Alex and I are celebrating our FIRST wedding anniversary on June 21st!!!! Eeeeppp! <3
4) We are refinancing our home for the crazy low interest rates so we can knock down our mortgage payments by $300 a month! Sweeeet!
So as you can see, there’s a LOT happening this month!!! 🙂 But for now, I’m celebrating the time I’ve been able to spend with family. <3 Check out how that was accomplished this past week/weekend below!

THE SWEETER MEMORIES FROM THIS PAST WEEK

SOAKING UP THE BEACH LIFE
It may be 90 degrees here in Florida, but we decided to brave the heat and hang out at the beach! If you cannot tell, we must be old Florida farts because lately we have avoided the hottest parts of the day and hibernated inside. But I’m SO glad we bit the bullet and spent some time soaking up one of the PRETTIEST beach days we’ve had this season!!! 🙂

FAMILY TIME
This past weekend was supposed to be a family reunion in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, but that didn’t stop my family from connecting! 🙂 I’m so glad Alex and I were around to do this!!!

PET LIFE
One of the many things why I love animals is for their personalities. And boy, we love Ollie’s snuggles. **Especially after a fresh bath!** Haha! Despite the fact that COVID has kept me here, I’ve enjoyed the time with my family. 🙂 Pixie is enjoying it too! After almost a year of living here, she seems like she’s finally settled in. Although, she’s not winning Alex points by being an Orioles fan… HAHA!

THE BITTER MEMORIES FROM THIS PAST WEEK

“A MAJOR LEAK”
No homeowner wants to hear the words, “it’s a major leak.” After having someone come out with a leak detection test last week, we discovered that it’s not going to be an easy fix after all… Even water was coming out of the slab of the house and the ground! YIKES!
After almost two weeks without hot water, we are FINALLY getting it fixed this week! No more taking laundry to the laundromat or hand washing dishes or bathing with a bucket of water! HAHA! *First world problems… RIGHT?!* Instead of just fixing a small section of the copper pipe, we decided to repipe the entire house since we plan to hold on to this property long term. I’ll be excited when this is in the past!!! 🙂
Happy Monday, everyone!!
