THIS SESSION. This session with Corey and Kimberly still has my photographer heart on cloud nine! <3 The golden light, pink clouds, blue water, and this darling couple made this session one for the books! Okaloosa Island will forever be a special place to many of us here near Destin, Florida, including Corey and Kimberly. So when we were talking about where to take photos, it was without a doubt the beach! š I was SO excited to be their photographer and document their love on Okaloosa Island in Florida!!!
Corey works with Alex in the residency program and is about to graduate this weekend!! CONGRATS Corey!!! But on a sad note, this also means that Corey and Kimberly are preparing to head out to their next duty station next week. We will miss them as well as all of the third years!! <3 I’ve had the privilege of hanging out with these two many times throughout the past year of living here. Whether it was just bumping into them while walking along the beach, grabbing acai bowls at Sunset Bowls in Fort Walton Beach, or even casually getting out of our cars at the same time while walking into John Beasley Beach Park! Haha! I’m so glad our paths crossed at the right time, and hope that despite them moving away, our paths will cross again in the future!
When Corey and Kimberly stepped in front of my camera, they inspired me from start to finish. The way they embraced each other was effortless, and they may have done it without even realizing that it came naturally to them! But I capitalized those precious, genuine, in-between moments and have been anxiously waiting to share these pretty photos with you all!!! I can FEEL the love in every single shot, and the dreamy light adds an entirely new element to the shoot. I’ll be dreaming and hoping for this incredible light again in future sessions!!! <3
