Coffee Talk Mondays

Coffee Talk Mondays

It’s TUESDAY but I’m making up for not posting a blog feature yesterday. 🙂 I took a long weekend with Alex to celebrate the Fourth of July. As you’ll see below, I ran up to Cheaha State Park for a little hiking adventure over the weekend!!! It was so much fun getting out with my guys, but definitely hot! The humidity was 98%! WHEW! As much as we would love to redo the trip again, I think we might wait until the fall season before taking on an adventure like that with Ollie.

Now that it’s July, I’m gearing up for my Virginia trips, and I’m SO excited to road trip north next month to photograph my first wedding since Coronavirus started! 🙂 I cannot WAIT. Until then, I’m busy photographing families visiting Destin, Florida. So grateful for some work here until I head to Virginia!!! Speaking of which, I have some more beach sessions to share this week. 🙂 More to come!!!

MOCHA MOMENTS
THE SWEETER MEMORIES FROM THIS PAST WEEK

1
SWEET HOME ALABAMA!

Our Fourth of July looked a LOT different than we thought … No thank you, COVID! But we snuck away to the tallest point of Alabama for a good hiking trip with Ollie! 🙂 It was so refreshing being in the mountains again and hike 6+ miles around Cheaha State Park! Although, a bit hot for a July hiking trip… But look how pretty it was on top of the Pulpit Rock!! Cheaha State Park, we WILL be back!!!

PORTRAIT SESSIONS AT THE BEACH

When I have to wake up early for a session… I DEFINITELY don’t mind doing it for THIS view!!!! I might not be photographing weddings at the moment, but I’m grateful for portrait sessions keeping me busy! 🙂

WHAT’S FOR DINNER, ALEX?”

Find yourself a man who can catch a fish and cook a mean pecan crusted grouper with brown butter! Oh my goshhhh. Amazing!

THE PET LIFE…

Gosh… Don’t they have the life?!! Although, as much as we want to believe Ollie loves hiking as much as we do, I am starting to think he would much rather be snuggled on the couch. HA! I think Alabama was a little much for him, but I’m treating him to a spa day (grooming session) on Friday … and a vet appointment next week for a wellness exam … But we won’t tell him that last part. 😉

Happy Tuesday, everyone!!
