I can remember attending my aunt’s baby shower YEARS ago, celebrating the upcoming arrival of my cousin, Helen. Flash forward many, many years later, my cousin is now a high school SENIOR at Liberty High School. I’m not sure how those years in between slipped away… The little girl I once taught swim lessons is creating her own waves (figuratively) and impacting so many lives (even if she’s unaware of it). π Our family always knew her big, passionate heart would get her far! And to think that this is only the beginning of her journey is exciting! God absolutely has plans for Hellie, and I’m here to witness it!!! π During my visit to Warrenton, Virginia, I took on the role as her senior photographer!! I was so excited to celebrate and photograph the beautiful young lady she is today. And boy, did her beautiful, bubbly self off in these photos below!!!!
When Hellie and I briefly talked about her senior portraits, she mentioned the family farm. π We share so many memories there together… Playing with the calves, driving around on the Gator through the fields, pulling worms from the ground under rocks … I don’t remember if we actually used the worms to go fishing or just used them as an excuse to play in the dirt? Haha! Regardless, so many beautiful memories there that shaped us to who we are today. π
While taking photos around the farm was important, so was her pup, Chico! Hellie’s caring heart explodes around her beloved Chico, and he loves her just as much (even if he looks a little scared in the photos. HA!)! The beautiful young lady who stood confidently in front of my camera made me so proud of the woman she is today! And this is only the beginning. I cannot wait to see what comes next after graduation!!!
