Coffee Talk Mondays

Coffee Talk Mondays

What a weekend!!! 🙂 It wasn’t quite as productive as I expected, but it was FUN!!! Hopefully, this week will be productive as we prepare for a little vacation to Wyoming on Friday. 🙂 **I’ll be out of the office starting Friday with no intentions of doing any business work during this last big getaway before the baby arrives in December.** 🙂 We cannot wait to escape for a little bit and enjoy some time together exploring the beautiful west while also spending time with family! In the meantime, I’ll be working on some last-minute business-prep before we head out while hopefully squeeze in an afternoon to do a personal project in the house. These weeks are FLYING by so quickly!!! Before another week flies by, check out what happened this past week below. 🙂

OUR BABY SHOWER

Hellooooo, third trimester!!! This past weekend was the perfect way to jump right into the countdown! 🙂 We are grateful for our military family, and the love/support they showed us on Saturday!!! <3 More importantly, it was wonderful to gather the 3rd year class together again to hang out since it has been WAY too long! Our time here is limited, so this was a great excuse to see everyone together again. <3 We love this crew, and are so appreciative of everything!!!!

I MISSED THIS VIEW

Well… Maybe not the view of the shark. Haha! But I missed going to the beach and walking along the shoreline. Alex and I made it out to the beach early Saturday to enjoy a little volleyball/beach walk! It was great hanging out with residency friends while enjoying the beautiful day outside!!!

HURRICANE CLEAN UP

Our neighbors were on top of their yard clean up game after we had a hurricane come through a couple of weeks ago. Our yard looked not up to standard, so we FINALLY dedicated a couple of evenings to clean up the branches/debris. Now we are proud of our yard again. 🙂 Haha! The only scary part was picking up the piles of sticks/pine needles after letting it sit overnight and discovering that I picked up a SNAKE!!!!!! AH!!! I didn’t realize it until the pile I had in my hands fell and the snake slithered off into a bush… EWWW. It took a lot of courage to face the remaining piles around our home. HAHA! I never had a fear of snakes until pregnancy and moving to Florida…

THE BITTER MEMORIES FROM THIS PAST WEEK

NESTING?

I was hoping to dedicate this past week to baby prep around the house (paint, organize, etc.), and I keep finding myself pulled by business tasks. I know putting the time into my business will hopefully mean I’ll have an easier time transitioning to maternity leave. But I am also hoping to squeeze in some time now before the belly really gets in the way! Haha! So hopefully I’ll be able to have one afternoon this week before we head out to Wyoming on Friday? We will see!! 🙂

Happy Monday, everyone!!
