WOW! It’s THANKSGIVING week!!! We weren’t sure when this week would ever arrive after this crazy year! HA! I don’t know about you, but I’m looking forward to all of the Thanksgiving food, even though we won’t be in Virginia with family this year. A little baby in my tummy is keeping us on lockdown in the meantime in case he makes an early appearance. 😉 But we are taking advantage of this time to prepare for next month. And that also includes decorating for Christmas!!!! Although, I’m going to try to limit myself to the decor this year… 😉 I was thinking of just the Christmas tree and a little lit garland for the fireplace … but we also need stockings, right? And that cute little lit up Christmas tree for the fireplace … and … and … and … 😉 I love the magic of the Christmas lights so this will be interesting to simplify the decor! HA!
Anyways, I don’t have too much to share from this past week considering that I only just switched to “nesting” mode! And honestly, I am REALLY starting to feel the pregnant pains of a belly! My lower back… achy feet from running around all day … a little nausea in the afternoons … and some other TMI things. I can see why moms get a little restless during the final few weeks of pregnancy!! Haha!
Here’s what happened this past week!!
THE SWEETER MEMORIES FROM THIS PAST WEEK
While doing a little business work throughout the week, I’ve managed to switch to “nesting” mode!!!! FINALLY! I’ve been looking forward to getting things organized/prepared for the baby next month. 🙂 The nursery is nowhere close to being ready, the hospital bags are not packed, and freezer food is not yet prepped, but I think by next week, we will be about set! I guess we need to figure out how to install a car seat too… 😉 Ha! These few final weeks are going to be exciting, scary (because everything is about to change — especially our sleeping habits), and everything in between!!!
THE BITTER MEMORIES FROM THIS PAST WEEK
I FEEL SICK…
Throughout this entire pregnancy, I’ve been trying to go with the flow and trust my team! I had my 36-week appointment and reality HIT me! I will be pushing a baby out in less than a month… I was nauseous all day long after that appointment. I’m not a fan of medical stuff and it took me the LONGEST time to get over my fear of shots! HA! We are less than a month from meeting our sweet boy, so I’ll be praying every day for a safe and healthy delivery next month. <3 God will supply me with the physical and mental strength to get through the delivery!!!
Happy Monday, everyone!!
