Back in August, we welcomed our friends, Andrew, Caitlin, and their precious little girl, Leah, as our first official overnight visitors! We were so grateful for this quality time with them. It was so great seeing them as parents β They are seriously rocking it! I laughed and said that Caitlin was a pro when we were walking around Manitou Springs and she managed to bottle feed Leah while pushing her in the stroller. HAHA! So impressive. π During their stay in Colorado Springs, we decided to play tourists with them and do all of the fun things! Like the cog train up to Pikes Peak … Hello SNOW in August??? … enjoyed a scrumptious Birthday dinner at Four by Brother Luck … hiked the Crags Trail (now our favorite hike) … and so much more! And before leaving Colorado Springs, we had to take them to Palmar Park and Garden of the Gods (of course)!
When they left, our hearts were full but we only hoped that we convinced them to move to Colorado. π After all, we have an arranged marriage agreement between Jack and Leah. π π π HAHA! I’m glad we have so many photos of them together so we can continue to take progress photos as they grow up over the years ahead!
During their short trip, we took them up to Palmar Park, the heart of Colorado Springs. We love this spot because it’s a clear view (when it’s not smoky) of Pike Peak and the Garden of the Gods! And there are plenty of hikes (long or short) around the park. On our way to our fancy dinner, we decided to take some family photos at one of my favorite spots at Palmar Park. You can see why I wanted to share these photos because … HELLO, model family! <3 Haha! And of course, I had to take a picture of Alex and Andrew together with the babes! That will have to be replicated in the future for sure. π Check out some of these darling photos from their time in front of my camera!
