Keith and Lauren have a way with beautiful views!! You might recognize these two from their epic DC Cherry Blossom engagement session or their mountain wedding two years ago. Recently, we celebrated another VERY special occasion… They are pregnant!!! Keith and Lauren are going to be amazing parents. <3 When they reached out to me about documenting their maternity session in Virginia, I hoped we would have a flower field during their spring session. Fortunately, the timing was just right at my family farm because we had fields of buttercups in bloom! And what made this even more dreamy was when the sun decided to come out halfway through the session!

While catching up with these two and talking all things baby, it brought me back to that time of waiting. It’s an exciting time envisioning what life will look like with a baby boy. But it’s also nerve-wrecking because so many things are out of your control. Ultimately, you learn how to let go of some things; it translates even after labor/delivery! Being a parent is the most humbling, selfless experience. I’m excited for Keith and Lauren to experience this new term of “love” when they meet their handsome little boy soon!!! The snuggles and bonding time are the best memories from those initial months! Every month brings on new memories and milestones with your little one, and it’s fun documenting that journey day by day. I’m glad Keith and Lauren took the time to have this season documented because this is just the beginning!!! I’m excited to watch their story unfold over the years to come as parents!
