I’ll just start this blog post by saying, if I didn’t love Baby Shark, I don’t think their son would’ve approved of me. HAHA! I met with the Hinz family back in June to photograph their family, but it wasn’t my first time photographing Gabby and Stephen. I actually photographed their engagement and their wedding day back in 2017! So many warm, fuzzy feelings thinking back to their wonderful wedding day! And I’ll never forget jamming out to “Proud Mary” behind my camera! This time around, we were jamming out to Baby Shark. HA! I was honored to be their family photographer and photograph them in Manassas, Virginia! Gabby looked beautiful in her white summer dress and I’m always a fan of the boat shoes that Stephen wore. 🙂 They looked so put together and made this session come together beautifully!!

One of the many reasons why I love documenting families is having the opportunity to reconnect and document my couples grow their families. I feel like I’ve been able to identify with my couples/families more than ever since getting married and having a family of my own. I understand that parenthood has high and low moments. Whew, it involves a lot of patience (I’m speaking from experience with my 20 month old son!!!)! And sometimes, you need to turn on Baby Shark 100 times to create peace. 😉 HAHA! In my house, it’s Moana music on a daily basis, but it’s funny talking about these little things about parenthood with my couples. 🙂

From your wedding day to having two precious boys, I love every chance catching up with your life!!! I look forward to watching your family grow over the years ahead — You have sweet boys!!!
