When Hannah puts her mind to something, she’s fully in! I’ve known Hannah for YEARS, thanks to my brother. Since our initial meeting, I’ve photographed her engagement portraits, wedding day, and this self-love shoot! I love watching her grow over the years — She’s very intellectual and spiritual. Through yoga, singing (she has a voice of an angel*seriously!!!*), and being out in nature whenever she’s not flying (hello, flight attendant life), she has found herself on a journey of self-love. So Hannah reached out to me about the idea of taking portraits on the Shenandoah Mountains in Virginia to remember this season of her life. Can we make this a thing? I loved it!!!
When we initially got together, Hannah was admittedly nervous. But those nerves were immediately washed away when we got into the session! 🙂 Even though it was a short 45-minute shoot, she nailed so many great shots! The scenery was so perfect — the environment was so calming, and we incorporated some of her yoga poses. Hannah is naturally gorgeous, and the dress she chose for these portraits was breathtaking! The flowers on her emerald green dress were embroidered and appliquéd. This one-of-a-kind dress hand-crafted by JessaKae was special, and she knew before she contacted me that this was a photo shoot-worthy dress. 🙂 I’m glad she stuck to her guns because it even had random people commenting during the session. Haha! I’m so excited to share these beauties with you all today!!!
