On cold winter days like today, I love reminiscing about Kelsey and Ryan’s November wedding at Early Mountain Vineyards. The lit fireplaces and glowing candles created a cozy, romantic atmosphere that perfectly suited their celebration. Their elegant white and blue color scheme immediately takes me back to Kelsey’s stunning dress from their Old Town Alexandria engagement session. And speaking of dresses—Kelsey surprised everyone with not one, but two breathtaking gowns on her wedding day!
Kelsey and Ryan put together a truly beautiful celebration, and it’s easy to see how much thought and effort their incredible vendor team put into making the day perfect. I couldn’t pick just one favorite detail from their day, but the southern-charm touches really stood out, from the custom monogram to the soft color palette, floral arrangements, and the unique seating chart wall. Every detail felt intentional and elevated their Early Mountain Vineyards wedding.
Kelsey and Ryan’s Wedding Day
The venue itself was the perfect backdrop for Kelsey and Ryan’s celebration. Ryan had the chance to unwind with the guys during a private wine tasting while they were getting ready, which I’m sure helped ease any pre-ceremony nerves! But when it was time for Kelsey and Ryan’s first look, it was emotional. They exchanged private vows in a moment that left us all misty-eyed.
As guests began to arrive, they were greeted with a glass of champagne to kick off the festivities. The ceremony, held in a softly lit room with the glow of the fireplace and candles, was intimate and full of warmth. After Kelsey and Ryan were officially married, guests cheered as the couple made their way into the cocktail hour, while the vendor team worked quickly to transform the space. The speed and precision of the flip was nothing short of impressive—guests were amazed by how the atmosphere shifted from ceremony to reception in what felt like no time at all!
During the reception, Kelsey and Ryan treated their guests to a signature nightcap: Irish coffee (Ryan’s favorite)! And, of course, the party kicked off when the DJ took over. It was an energetic celebration, with the dance floor packed all night long. My “job” behind the camera so much fun, capturing all those candid moments that will forever hold a special place in their memories.
It was truly an unforgettable celebration for Kelsey and Ryan—one I’ll always treasure. Their Early Mountain Vineyards wedding was a perfect reflection of their love for each other and the beautiful life they are building together.
