Christmas is over?! What?! All of this cheerful time I had with the music, family, friends, food, games … and now the festive time is done. However, I refuse to tear down the decorations … well, not until January 6th (Epiphany). So I guess I have a few more days left to relive the festive time! Especially with New Years Eve tomorrow! Crazy to think that 2014 is just around the corner. I will be doing evaluations this week as well as new goals for 2015! It will be a great way of determining new strategies as I have learned SO much this year!!! It feels like foreverrrrr since I have last blogged! I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas!!! It was so great seeing those I love and especially being able to spend this Christmas with Kyle from reading the Bible together to watching classic Christmas movies to baking delicious food to really celebrating this time of the year together! 🙂 I am SO incredibly blessed to have him in my life and looking forward to what is around the corner. 😉
It was interesting this Christmas because I was more excited about giving the gifts I thought of instead of thinking about what I wanted. So needless to say, it was super hard for my family and loved ones to buy for me because I really did not find anything necessary for me to have. Somehow, they all were able to surprise me with gracious and thoughtful gifts! My mom found a beautiful 1930s vanity … uhhhh yes please! My stuff officially has a home in my house! Lol! Not kidding, my perfumes, lotions and makeup were in a box in a closet. Ever since moving in the vanity into my bedroom, I decided that it was finally time to put together the room! I will embarrassingly admit that the bedroom was the last room I touched when it came to decorating. Every single room in my house (besides the bedroom) was completely decorated from curtains to wall decor and color scheme … if you walked into my bedroom, it looked like a frat room. Not kidding! Bed on the floor and two dressers. Yep! That was my room! I kept it closed all of the time. After moving in the vanity and receiving a beautiful tufted bed frame for Christmas, my bedroom has taken a 180 degree turn for the best! It is a completely different room! Still has a lot more work to be done, but I could not be more happy to think that it is becoming a space I enjoy!

During the Christmas time, I made it crucial that I needed to catch up with my friends! So one night last week, I gathered a group of friends at my place to play some games and have wine and cheese! Funny part is that I am the WORST at taking photos of myself with my friends because I A) forget or B) don’t think about it … yes, this is so embarrassing to admit since it is only just my JOB! Lol! 2014, this has to be a MUST! Take photos with family and friends more often! Anyways, this particular group of friends reminded me that we need a photo … so this happened. Lol! Minus one of my bffs, Liz, who left a little early! 🙁 She’s there in spirit!!!
I hope everyone has been enjoying this time as we clean up for the new year and start thinking of new goals. I know there is a lot of cleaning up I want to do … organizing … finances … business brainstorming … the list can go on. I also want to start thinking of little projects to work on since the season is dying down and I LOVE crafty projects! So this winter, I will be coming up with little crafty things soon and share it on my blog over the next few months! 🙂 Until then, I hope you enjoy the last couple days left of 2013!!! xoxo
