Is this winters farewell? If so, it’s definitely making its grand exit ā¦ I look out the window of my bedroom and see over 8 inches worth of snow on the ground! This is by far the craziest winter season that I remember of in my life! When I start to get my hopes up for spring time, here comes another huge snow storm! I’m looking forward to spring portraits soon as I think this snow storm might push off some of my sessions this week. š Crossing fingers that this weekends wedding will be dry and sunny! First wedding of the year in my books and from here, I have 30 more to love and adore. š It’s going to be CRAZY, but that is why I am SO fortunate that things turned out the way God planned. I’m officially full time as of October 2013 and it works out where I can reach my turn around goals and keep on top of business tasks. Looking forward to this years weddings!
Ran outside in my boots (thanks to JMU for teaching me how necessary it was to have rain boots apart of our wardrobe) and measured the snow ā¦ as of now. Where I am in the mountains, it’s reading about 9.5 inches! Whew! So much for thinking this was going to be a no biggie snow storm. Shesh!
To make this winter snowy day worthy, go out and scoop up some fresh and CLEAN snow! Last time we had the snow storm, I made snow cream ā¦ it’s goooood! Have you ever heard of it? I mentioned it to my family and they said we use to have it all the time when I was young. Wow, I guess I really am getting too old to remember some of those great childhood memories. Here is a photo I took before of the snow cream. š And you better believe I’ll be making another bowl of this later today!

SNOW CREAM RECIPE
8 cups of fresh and CLEAN snow
1/2 cup white sugar
1.5 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup of milk
Mix it all together and top it off with a fresh fruit if you like. It’s delicious! š
This week, you are going to see my office space updated as I am more settled in and organized. It makes such a huge difference de-cluttering a space! Also, it’s PIXIE’S 2nd birthday this Wednesday!!! Cannot believe it has been about 2 years since I brought her into my life. Couldn’t ask for a better kitty and cannot wait to share with you all what I have planned on Wednesday. š
