What a WEEKEND! Whew! I knew I always found a way to keep myself busy! It’s funny because I could have sworn that when I photographed my last crazy wedding weekend a couple weeks ago that everything would start slowwwwwing down. FALSE. If anything, I looked at my calendar on Thursday realizing that I had something going on every single day/night until the 28th! Basically, half of this month is missed out on a quiet night at home with Kyle. Crazy how fast a schedule can book up! However, I also know that this is the BUSY time of the year and November should slow down … really! 🙂
A quick shout out to the love of my life, Kyle! We celebrate two years today of dating. 🙂 He has shown me so much of what love truly means and I am SO appreciative to have him in my life. I know that times get hard with the business of our jobs, but we understand that there are slow times approaching for us to also enjoy each others company. I look forward to the years ahead with many more adventures! Life is better with you! Love you!!!!
Even though this week may have seemed relaxing at first turned into a busy one! I have three portrait sessions (weather depending), a Shoot & Share meeting, seeing my grandparents visiting from FL and one of my best friends is getting MARRIED (!!!!!)!!! I am SO excited for the festivities Friday/Saturday! I’m helping Amanda out with some of her wedding details and have compiled a list of DIY projects I need to complete in the next few days. They are so much fun!!! Cannot imagine what it will be like when it’s my turn! 😉
I started off this weekend with a little workshop with an AMAZING group of girls! Oh it was so much fun hanging out with them and enjoying hot apple cider on the side. 🙂 I’m so glad they were all so interested in everything from shooting manual mode properly to composition to equipment to lighting to basic editing to everything in between! Absolutely amazing and I’m so thankful for each and every one of those who attended! xoxoxoxoxoox
What’s coming to the blog this week?!
Toby & Jennifer | Sky Meadows Park + Barrel Oak Winery Engagement
Loch Family … what a cutie pie with her little chicken!
Jared & Kaitlin | Richmond, VA Engagement
On a side note, please pray for my sister! She told me Thursday night that she was having horrendous pain in her lower back which turned into an ER visit that late night. Nurses thought she may have had a kidney stone, but nothing showed in the tests so of course they gave her morphine and sent her home. Anyways, yes for the temporary time the morphine helped but as soon as it wore off the pain triggered again leading her back to the ER last night. Again, nothing came up in the CT Scans or sonogram. However, now they are thinking that there might be something wrong with her gall bladder. She is now scheduled to see a gastroenterologist to see what is exactly going on!
I hope everyone has a wonderful start to their work week! Stay warm! Definitely starting to feel like fall!
