I met Brittany YEARS ago from our swimming days at Liberty High School … Hard to believe that was probably 10 years ago?! I was ecstatic when I met up with Danny and Brittany and they asked if I could photograph their special day! They are incredibly sweet and not to mention so fun together … You will see photos below that I just HAD to share. 😉 Hahah! I had the privilege to meet their pup, Maggie, during their engagement session and you will just fall in love with her! She played a major role in the proposal story (read below) which was too cute to not share with you all!!! For being a seven month old pup, Maggie did SO well during our time together last week! They should definitely train her enough to be involved in the wedding. 😉 Haha!

How They Met
The answer to how we met, definitely depends on who you ask. We have a handful of family members and friends who each take great credit in fixing us up. As complete strangers, we crossed paths running at the Greenway, to then officially meeting at my work, but ultimately we had a mutual friend encourage Danny to ask me on a date. And since that first date at Black Bear, I have realized that I am one lucky girl to have been “fixed up” with the most genuine and selfless person I have ever met.
The Proposal
At Christmas time, Danny goes home to New Jersey for about 2 weeks to visit family. Danny calls about 2 or three days before coming home to tell me he made plans with friends to meet at Black Bear the day he returns. Saturday comes and nothing out of the ordinary I drive town to meet him. I’m late as always, Danny sends me a text to say he is already seated and the host has his name. I walk in, state my name, and I receive a card and a box. I immediately open the card to realize that Danny is sending me on a scavenger hunt and in the box is a leash. Ding, ding, ding!! I’m getting a puppy and I new exactly where to get my next clue. The Greenway, as mentioned before where we first crossed paths. At the greenway, I found my second box and sweet note from Danny. This box contained a collar and tag with Maggie’s name engraved on it. The note instructed me to come home. Needless to say, I am bawling from the thoughtfulness and out of pure excitement. I get home to Danny on the porch holding a fluffy little puppy. I hugged and kissed them both and then Danny said, “one more thing.” Setting Maggie down, he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. He was so nervous he forgot to put my ring on. I tear up just writing this. Our proposal was so amazing and thoughtful.
