After photographing an incredible Saturday wedding, I was really pumped for Sunday! I was reminiscing Matt and Nicole’s engagement photos on the way to their wedding and could not help but get excited! I remember falling in love with this couple from the start. They both attended and met through JMU (GO DUKES)! Matt and Nicole’s love is genuine, sweet and a bundle of joy! So glad JMU brought these two together. Now after editing through their wedding photos, I have to think that these might be some of the sweetest prepping portraits. Nicole is just a ball of sunshine with her contagious smile and laugh. 🙂 I cannot help but to smile when going through their photos!
On a personal note, I have to say that this was probably my closest call to an injury at a wedding. We were photographing close to the lake on the property when a golfer hit a ball in our direction. It was just feet from us! A little crazy but it was worth it for the portraits. 😉 Haha! I enjoyed photographing their classy and elegant periwinkle and grey details. The reception space was so unique with the grand staircase leading down to the dance floor. Naturally, when it was time for Matt and Nicole’s entrance they came up to the balcony and had a little Titanic moment. Haha! Needless to say, they are not just a joy to photograph during portraits but they have fun and charming personalities that light up any room. Honored to have been a part of their wedding day, especially to a room of fellow JMU Dukes!
Thank you Matt and Nicole for an incredible ending to a fabulous weekend! You both looked radiant and so happy!!! Looking forward to seeing where God takes your marriage in the future. CONGRATS! xoxo!
I have to say this might be the best entrance I have seen! Hahah! Perfect for a balcony entrance. 😉
