Taylor and Hailey’s wedding day all started at Alwynton Manor in Warrenton, Virginia on a beautiful fall day. It was a bit chilly, but thankfully the heat was blasting in the manor for their guests to warm up. I failed to bring a coat with me but that’s another story. 😉 To sum up the day is easy! It was truly a merry celebration! So many smiles, laughs and tears were shared amongst everyone. It was thirty minutes before Taylor would see the love of his life, when they were able to share a little moment together behind a door. They read out loud their love letters to one another, without seeing each other, they had taken the time to carefully write with sincere and genuine thoughts. Before we knew it, it was time to get hitched! Hailey rode down on a carriage ride to the altar like it was straight out of a fairytale. She looked like a true princess. 🙂 You could see Hailey in the distance in disbelief of it all with her hand covering her mouth in awe. As her and her dad walked down the aisle with BIG smiles on their faces, Taylor was at the altar with tears filling his eyes. I saw Taylor mesmerized in Hailey’s beauty and mouthed to her how beautiful she looked. A heart melting moment for sure! During the ceremony, they had four friends sing a Phantom of the Opera song (one of my personal all time favorite Operas). It was so SO sweet! About half way through the song, there was a little, yet HILARIOUS, malfunction with the piano and kept playing a random little noise that had the entire ceremony in laughter! It was the funniest thing I have ever witnessed during a ceremony. It was perfect as this was anything but a stiff wedding. 🙂 They ended the ceremony by running down the aisle and dancing their way to the carriage. To say that this wedding was joyful is an understatement. A true celebration! They have been waiting for this day for a long time!!! 🙂
That same fun spirit carried throughout the reception as they even had some friends rap their wedding day to the tune of “The Fresh Prince of Bel Air”. Lol! And if that wasn’t awesome enough, Hailey, Taylor and their parents got up and sang/danced to “I’m Sailing Away” by Styx for their parent dances. It was pretty epic and reminded me of the MRD days. 🙂 Hailey and I actually met through the JMU MRDs so it was an appropriate memory. They ended the night going through the sparklers saying goodbye to everyone knowing that it was the best day of their lives, yet the beginning of a great one together. 🙂
Thank you Taylor & Hailey for an amazing time throughout your engagement and on your wedding day! So happy for you both and looking forward to seeing many more laughs and smiles in your future. 🙂 CONGRATS!!!!
Let’s just say that you had to have been there to understand… LOL! I don’t think there has ever been so much laughter during a ceremony! 🙂
And they danced their way down the aisle. 🙂
