Over a month ago, Lane, her mom and I met on Skyline Drive where it was the most haunted looking backdrop I had ever seen … No joke. The fog took over the mountains and we literally could not see more than 20 feet away. We decided to postpone to a later date and I’m so glad we did because not only did the sun make it worthwhile, but we had fall colors in the backdrop we would not have had if we had continued with our original date. I was driving through Skyline Drive when I spotted a red/orange tree surrounded by tall wheat looking grass. Even though there wasn’t parking right at the destination since it was just off the side of the road, I knew we needed to make this location happen! After running around for a little bit, we walked up the road like hitch hikers to the “fire tree”. and I’m SO happy we made the hike because the photos are some of my favorites from this session! 🙂
Lane’s beauty is evident inside and out. Her smile and laugh was contagious, even in the chill air. Don’t let her photos fool you as everyone was wearing coats when we were running around! She was a trooper bearing the cold mountain air. Not to mention, I loved that her mom made her a tulle skirt! What a cute idea for a senior session!!!
Thank you Lane, as well as your lovely family, for having me document this exciting time of your life!!! Looking forward to seeing where your future takes you and the college you end up accepting! 🙂 🙂 🙂 CONGRATS!!!
Congrats Lane!!!
