I hope everyone had a happy Thanksgiving!!! 🙂 I spent all of last week in Florida visiting family and enjoying a little getaway time. I found myself working the first part of the trip but I don’t regret it at all as I feel so at ease going into these last few weeks of the year. 🙂 Can you believe that tomorrow is DECEMBER?! I hope everyone enjoys today’s cyber Monday sales! Speaking of incredible sales, I had my first experience with Black Friday … by accident. Out of all places it had to be Walmart. Lol! Since my family and I had a little intimate Thanksgiving together in Florida, we didn’t really think about having a pumpkin pie until the last minute. This is only because we had our real Thanksgiving meal with everyone last Sunday. 😉 So my dad and I went out on the hunt to find pumpkin pie at 6 p.m. Thanksgiving Day. Of course every store was closed except Walmart. As soon as we pulled into the parking lot, our jaws dropped as there was not ONE parking spot available. In fact, they had policemen every direction you turned, whether it was in the parking lot or in the store. After I finally found a pie and found an open register, the person helping me could not believe I battled the crowds just for that … Believe me, if I had only known that Black Friday was actually Black Thursday, I would not have stepped into the store. Haha! Lesson learned. 😉
