Taylor’s mom, Stephanie, and I met years ago when she was preparing to get married to the love of her life, Jeremy. Cannot believe they have been married for over two and a half years already! I remember meeting Taylor at her mom’s wedding where I had the chance to help celebrate the special occasion with the entire family. Fast forward two and a half years, I was excited to hear from Stephanie when she asked if I could photograph her daughter’s senior portraits. Stephanie explained that Taylor can be reserved and shy, but goodness … the camera loves her!!! Her blue eyes were so captivating and she was a delight to photograph. We photographed at her boyfriend’s friends house where they had gorgeous, maintained red barns. Taylor didn’t tell me she was secretly Snow White with all of the animals following her around. 😉 Haha! After playing around at the farm, we departed for her high school where we photographed true school spirit in uniform. We even had her boyfriend come out with his football jersey so we could snap a few of them together. They are so cute! I’ve been excited to share these photos since I photographed them on Monday!
A little piece of advice to Taylor now that my ten year anniversary from high school graduation is approaching next year … Be sure to embrace these moments surrounded by friends you get to see every day at school. In ten years, you’ll realize that work, your significant other and possibly your very own family becomes the priority making it difficult to hang out with your friends regularly. Sometimes it takes months before schedules align to hang out with those you used to see every day at school. Cherish those who surround you today, everyday. <3 More importantly, have fun!!!
