I remember sitting on my porch talking to Elnora on the phone. Her contagious laughter, excitement and enthusiasm were some of the qualities that I loved when talking with her! If you don’t remember their adorable love story, you must read it HERE! 🙂 When it comes to a solid foundation in a relationship, they are firm believers in Jesus, love and laughter. John and Elnora’s energy was so sweet and special to document from their engagement session to their wedding day. 🙂
On a hot, yet mild, August Sunday, family and friends gathered from all over to help celebrate John and Elnora’s special day at a beautiful Bed and Breakfast in Orange, Virginia. I arrived early in the afternoon where Elnora was BEAMING with excitement to get the party started! Like what the Best Man and Maid of Honor said during their toasts, Elnora is the center of the party! Haha! The details Jennifer from MayJune Events and Elnora put together really embodied how FUN John and Elnora are together. After Elnora got into her dress, I about lost it when I saw her mom hugging her with eyes full of tears. Speaking of raw emotion, some brides are scared to think about a first look because they are concerned the reaction won’t be the same walking down the aisle. John and Elnora chose to do a first look and even with that, John’s reaction to seeing his beautiful bride walking down the aisle was everything pure and emotional. It was so sweet!! Getting to that point where Elnora could walk down the aisle involved a torrential downpour. Fortunately, no one was outside when the rain said hello! John and Elnora were able to have their outdoor ceremony and it was everything they were hoping. <3
John and Elnora came into their reception ready to party! After making rounds and socializing with their family and friends, they started busting moves on the dance floor. There was even a song dedicated to Elnora and John to really let them break it down. They are so cute! Haha! Notice when going through their photos … The cake topper was customized to look like them! Love that unique detail. 🙂 After dancing the night away, they happily walked through the sparklers as they made their exit. It was a beautiful day and I’m so blessed to have met such a sweet and darling couple through my business!
Thank you John and Elnora for having me a part of your wedding day! I had the best time getting to know you over the past year and cannot believe the months flew by so fast! I wish you both the absolute best and looking forward to seeing you again in the future! CONGRATS and enjoy looking through some of my favorites!!! XOXO!
