Thank you, Artfully Wed, for featuring this wedding on your blog!!! Since photographing this wedding a year ago, I realized how blessed I am to know Brianna and Matt. Brianna is not only a caring and sweet bride, but a friend. 🙂 Now that Artfully Wed featured their photos, I thought how appropriate it was to feature their wedding on my blog around their One Year Anniversary! The year has flown by so fast and I’m happy to see that Matt and Brianna’s relationship continues to flourish. They are just adorable together!!
Every detail was unique and carefully thought out. Their vision all started around the place where Brianna grew up, deep in the woods where Brianna, her family and friends once played when they were kids. They called this particular spot, “Sherwood Forest”. It was only appropriate to bring everyone through the winding trails of their backyard to the most peaceful spot where Matt and Brianna professed their love for one another. Amanda Veronee created the most majestical atmosphere with flowers galore. Brianna’s father put together an incredible arbor built into a tree where they can forever remember the ceremony. Flowers draped from the wooden arbor and lined the path Brianna and her father walked down the aisle. Everyone got chills watching them from afar walk through the woods where you only saw glimpses of them until they turned a corner. Matt’s eyes filled with tears in awe of how gorgeous his bride was. She looked absolutely INCREDIBLE in her Pronovias by Elie Saab wedding dress and her cathedral length veil! Her bouquet draped from her hands so beautifully. Every detail was flawless thanks to the amazing vendor team!
After Matt and Brianna were pronounced husband and wife, we drove over to Morais Vineyards & Winery to start the party! My jaw dropped as I walked into the reception space to photograph the details. Jennifer from May June Events kept telling me prior to the big day how gorgeous this wedding would be … She did not disappoint! Like the ceremony arbor, Matt and Brianna had another arbor for their sweetheart table covered in flowers. It was only appropriate for them to carry their “Enchanted Forest” theme to the reception. They had a wooden sign for guests to sign and even their place cards had a wooden texture to tie in the woodsy detail. The gorgeous color tones of mulberry and gold could not have been a better blend for this August wedding and now I’m seeing these colors pop up more and more. Started a trend, possibly? 😉 The celebration started on a high note when Matt and Brianna took the dance floor with a choreographed dance since Brianna grew up dancing. Overall, the day was a joy to photograph and an incredible honor! SO excited to share these photos with you all after a year!
THANK YOU Matt and Brianna for having me! I wish you nothing but the best and look forward to future get togethers. Love you both and congrats to your first year of marriage!!! So much to look forward to in the future! XOXO!
