It has almost been a year ago since I photographed Nathan and Jaricia’s wedding day. π Their celebration was filled with incredible handmade details ranging from metal to wood work. Everyone came together to make their special day a day to never forget! Fortunately, they were able to have their outdoor ceremony despite the rain. I’m SO glad they (including the guests) were able to work through it! Leading up to the wedding day, Jaricia envisioned her wedding portraits to be taken with their horses. Due to weather, we were not able to photograph with the horses. π π π I really wanted to make this dream/vision come true for them!!
Fortunately, they had “One Year Anniversary Portraits” built into their contract with me! π We felt like this would be the perfect time to get back into their wedding attire and create the dreamy horse portraits they were hoping for … with SUNSHINE! π We met a couple of weeks ago on an overcast day, which would have been fine if the weather forecasters were a little more accurate. Rain wasn’t anticipated until after our session time, but it definitely came within the first ten minutes while I was there. We ended up rescheduling but I’m glad we did because we ended up with gorgeous weather for their portraits last week!! I had the best time catching up with Nathan and Jaricia as we reminisced their wedding day a year ago. π They brought out their horses and we played around in their field for the entire session time. I’m surprised that Jaricia didn’t have a bunch of crickets going up her dress after experiencing that recently with other brides. It was a picture perfect afternoon and I have been anxious to share these with them! π π π
Thank you Nathan and Jaricia for rescheduling and making our time so much fun playing with the horses! π HappyΒ One Year Anniversary (in six more days)!!!
HAPPY ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!!!
