Amanda | Madison Horse Farm, Virginia Fall Senior Portrait Photographer

I’m still gushing over this session! It was a dream to photograph Amanda’s senior portraits yesterday! I’m glad the cards played in our favor, so she doesn’t have to wait long to see these photos! 🙂 When discussing where to photograph her senior portraits, she thought of this BEAUTIFUL farm! Her mom board horses across the street, and we were so fortunate to connect with the neighbor to make this session happen. It was a bit warm for a “fall session,” but I will take this last “summer day” over the upcoming winter weather! My gloves can stay in the closet until Christmas time, please! I arrived at the horse farm in Madison County where I was in complete “awe” when I stepped out of my car. Immediately, I spotted an incredible vibrant orange tree and knew this was going to be a great time! Amanda has a great sense of style, so that was a plus!!! I love long flowy skirts/dresses, so I was excited when she came out wearing one for her second outfit. Some of my favorite photos!

I found it hilarious when we would walk over to a fence to photograph, and the horses immediately came over to steal the show! It could not have been more dreamy. 🙂 Between the horses, Amanda’s natural beauty, the gorgeous sunset lighting and the views, I was in awe the entire time! She was adorable when she admitted at the end of the shoot how easy the session was, which is always a huge compliment! I love making my clients feel comfortable while having fun! I can promise that I equally had just as much fun as Amanda photographing this session. 🙂 There were many times throughout the session where I thought I had mistakenly booked a Ralph Lauren shoot. 😉 LOVE.

Thank you, Amanda, and your family for everything! I had the best time photographing your portraits and getting to know you! You have a bright future ahead, and I look forward to seeing where life takes you! I know your mom would love to see you stay local (lol!), but wherever you decide attending college, I know you will have the best time! Enjoy these last months of the high school life! Enjoy some of my MANY favorites!!! 🙂
