Damien & Lindsay | Manassas, Virginia Elopement Photographer

After photographing over 125+ weddings, this was a nice change of pace. Last Friday, I photographed my first elopement, and it was so sweet and special photographing this day for Damien and Lindsay. Lindsay contacted me two weeks ago sharing her interest to elope on Veterans Day. She also explained how important it was to have the ceremony on historical grounds. Come to find out that her father was high up in the military rankings and was a part of countless wars over the course of his lifetime. It was sentimental to have their elopement happen at the Manassas Battlefields as a representation that her father was there for Damien and Lindsay. <3

Damien and Lindsay’s first date wasn’t what they expected. They met for a movie and dinner in Gainesville but soon realized the movie they bought tickets for wasn’t as great as they hoped. Funny enough, they shared laughs during dinner as they realized that neither of them liked the movie after all! Over time, they realized that their hearts belong together, along with their children. Now, they are a family of six, and they were pleasantly surprised when their kids wanted to be a part of this elopement. I know they will cherish these memories for years to come, especially as the kids continue to grow. 🙂
