I’m back after being out of the office for over a week of travelling/moving Alex into his new home in Florida. I would be lying if I said it was an easy past week… I’m not typically one to cry, but gosh, I had so many episodes because of the changes happening all around me. Alex moved 1,000 miles away … I’m turning 30 tomorrow … Leading up to this point, I’ve been running nonstop the past month, especially since wedding season started! Needless to say, there were reasons to be emotional! I’m more accepting now and you’ll see why tomorrow as I wrote out my thoughts on turning 30. <3
Over the weekend, I celebrated my business’ SIXTH year anniversary!!!! Holy cow! Six years? Unbelievable! It’s crazy thinking about the time as a whole because I had NO idea it would lead me to where I am today. It wasn’t that long ago when I was working in a cubicle as a graphic designer in DC. Family and friends of mine had confidence in my potential to be a portrait photographer and I’m so grateful for their initial enthusiasm and encouragement!!! I have NO idea where I would be right now… But I know it would have been a completely different life! Growing up, I thought I would be an interior decorator or an architect or an engineer … Obviously, none of that happened! But they were all along the artsy direction. 😉 Funny how life works sometimes. So speaking of our direction in life, I was thinking about this verse at church yesterday, and thought how appropriate it was to include it in today’s post!

Again, I’m very VERY very grateful for another year in business!!! Gosh, you all have been there for me and I love the friendships this business has brought into my life. <3 I wish I could give back to you all!!! THANK YOU!!!! XOXO!
