Coaching Reunion

Well! I officially started the process of MOVING! AH! Gosh … and so not prepared! Lol! That is totally fine though because even if it takes me a week to get things moved from my family’s house to my new one, there is no rush. πŸ™‚ Kyle and I moved some kitchen stuff in and I must say that I have a lot of glasses … so I guess I am ready to entertain and have people over? Haha! Honestly though, I am really looking forward to start putting together my office because that will be a MUST to show you all! Cannot wait to get this ball rolling!

Monday, Heather and I took a road trip down to Richmond where we met up with over 20 other photographers! Before I get into talking about how much I loved Monday … on the way to getting ready to head out, I had my first flat tire! πŸ™ Such an unfortunate case because I have never had a flat tire in my life. But better now and not on my way to a wedding! Kyle came to my rescue without any hesitation at all and put on my spare for me! So lucky! πŸ™‚ Of course then I had to get my way to the local Firestone. And now four new tires later …

I must say that I LOVE this current industry! Some photographers come from places that are very private and competitive, which I say is unfortunate because photographers NEED friend photographers in the industry to push and pull ideas on one another … and not just that, but to also keep each other going. It is very easy to get discouraged and our job is to motivate and encourage when the other is feeling down. Believe me, this happens to everyone! Katelyn has been so gracious to this industry as she mentors photographers and helps all of us to raise the bar. I remember walking into her office last year and being so overwhelmed with all that needed to be done … so far, I have been able to cross off a TON of goals (YAY!) but still have much more to accomplish in my years. πŸ™‚ Now, we are half way through the year and I have more ideas and goals I look forward to sharing with my future clients! Monday evening, all 25 of us all got together to hang out, chat, have a fabulous dinner … with AMAZING oreo brownies (pinterest idea I’m sure πŸ˜‰ … and photograph Lauryn, our gorgeous model! It was nice meeting new photographers and catching up with familiar faces. Looking forward to continuing friendships through our careers! πŸ™‚

Here is a preview of Monday’s mini shoot! Enjoy!!!

She is stunning!

If you can only imagine 20 other photographers surrounding the model… πŸ™‚ It was fun!
