As you know, it is summertime … which means, beautiful greenery backgrounds with full trees and flowers. But it also means a LOT of rain and thunderstorms. I have unfortunately have had to postpone some sessions due to evening weather. This session, they were calling for storms all day long so in that type of circumstance, it is hard to tell until a couple hours ahead of time. So we waited until two hours before meeting that Weather.com promised a sunny or at least party sunny session. I arrived at the Smithsonian Castle in D.C. at our scheduled time and it was POURING rain. I was so bummed knowing that I cannot bring my equipment out in that type of weather. We waited it out and fortunately, the rain stopped! Yes! 🙂 So fortunate!
Marcelo and Christina met while she was volunteering in Honduras. Christina was staying in a hotel in the city. The owner happened to be one of Marcelo’s friends and introduced them. Immediately hit it off and started dating! The proposal happened on May 21st, 2011. Marcelo was djing at one of the clubs in the town they lived in and one night he stopped all the music and grabbed a microphone. He took Christine’s hand and proposed in front of the entire club, where he asked “Will you marry with me?”! As she said, “It wasn’t perfect english, but that made it so much cuter!”
^ SO cute! Haha! :)))
Thank you Marcelo and Christina for a great session! Our crossing fingers worked! 🙂 Cannot WAIT for your wedding next month!!!!
