Let’s pause my own photography and spotlight another photographer’s work! That other photographer is someone VERY special to me. <3 In fact, when Alex asked me on our first date, I remember scrolling through his Instagram with a friend of mine admiring all of his travel photography work! I thought that he had a natural talent and secretly thought how cool would it be to date another photographer who could appreciate God’s beautiful creations!!! Besides his love for God and traveling, I saw his passion for photography, and that was something I thought was a great chatting point during our first date. I loved exchanging stories from our past travels and dreams of places we want to experience in the future. But now we are getting ready for the biggest adventure of our lives preparing for marriage in almost two months!!! AH! I cannot wait to document our travels around the world over the years ahead and see how our different point of views are captured in the same location.
While I was getting to know Alex, I could tell he understood the importance of lighting. Even if that meant getting up super early to catch a sunrise (and anyone who knows him, knows he loves his sleep — But don’t we all? Especially on vacation??!). But when he said that, of course, my photographer’s heart burst! I love that he takes full advantage of his time wherever he visits! Gosh… I cannot wait to see what surprise he has up his sleeve for our honeymoon later this year. 🙂 🙂 🙂
Enjoy looking through Alex’s photos below! Some of these photos were taken abroad like Peru, Zimbabwe, England, Iceland, and Canada and other photos taken close to home like Richmond, Yosemite National Park, San Diego, and other places in between. I love his point of view and look forward to creating a collection of photos together throughout the years ahead!Â
Alex has sold many prints has some of these photos for sale on 500 Pix!
