Coffee Talk Monday | Coronavirus + Quarantine

Coffee Talk Mondays | Coronavirus Quarantine

This is not a typical Monday for me. I’m not sure if it’s because Alex is currently switching his schedule to the nightshift? Or maybe this Coronavirus has me on a completely new timeline now that my spring weddings are postponing. My typical 5:30 AM wake up call turned into 8 AM. And I’m finally sitting down to start work at 10:45 this morning after doing some chores and exercise. By now, I would have posted my blog post and finished my emails for the day but something feels so different since last week! So for today’s Coffee Talk Monday post, I want to share the reality of Coronavirus as we live our daily lifestyle in quarantine. If you need some encouragement, read this recent post!

It’s definitely a weird season… I was on track to have all of my business winter projects completed by the time my spring wedding season kicked off. Now I’m here left wondering what will I do the months to come? If you know me, you know I like to stay busy, so I’m sure finding home projects won’t be a problem at all! But business-wise, I’ll be brainstorming things to keep me occupied rather than just blogging, emailing, packaging, and album designing. 🙂

HAPPY NINE MONTHS TO MY BEST FRIEND!!!

I cannot believe it has been nine months already!!! 🙂 Alex has made marriage fun and easy. <3 And to make this time sweeter, we received our beautiful album in the mail!!! Ah! It was like Christmas morning opening up the package and reliving our day. 🙂 I cannot wait to see what the future holds.

In the meantime, can you all pray for my husband and all essential workers during this Coronavirus pandemic? Alex and the hospital are preparing for a storm with this craziness… I’m currently praying for rest and protection over our medical staff!

CORONAVIRUS QUARANTINE PROS

There is a plus side to being quarantined. Rest! Family time! Resetting your mentality of what really matters in life. As each day passes, there is a new appreciation for things that we might have taken for granted in the past. Maybe this might be a new mindset moving forward after this pandemic ends? I hope we all cling to our values and refocus on what matters most in our lives. <3

Things that have helped us get through the weekend — Reading, hammock time, playing chess/board games, cooking, cleaning, Netflix, and snuggles with Ollie!!

CORONAVIRUS QUARANTINE CONS

On the flip side, the pandemic has shown it’s ugly side. Bought out grocery stores, closed down gyms, parks, and beaches … I was hoping we could all practice social distancing at least at the beach, but that was taken away. I hope this ends soon!!! <3

Happy Monday, everyone!!
