Vince & Kristin Engagement | Downtown Georgetown + Alexandria Photographer

It was an early Sunday morning … 4:30 a.m. to be exact … when I woke up to meet these two in downtown Georgetown for their sunrise session. Now, this has been the earliest I have had to wake up in a long time and WHEW I struggled getting out of bed if I’m going to be honest. But you know what? It is COMPLETELY worth it because by the time I was walking away from their session, I felt like I got a lot done and it was only 8 a.m.! Haha! It is also worth it because of the gorgeous lighting of course! Who knew so much smiling could be happening when we could have been sleeping in over the weekend?!

Meeting these two was such a delight! They just got engaged and starting the excitement of the wedding planning … so of course I was excited throwing out ideas to them as I become more knowledgeable with venues and vendors. 🙂 I absolutely LOVE this industry! They are so thrilled to be engaged and to be taking the first step of celebrating by doing their engagement photos! Looking forward to seeing what direction they take their planning!

When I first saw their dog jump out of the car … my heart was immediately in love! I am an animal lover, so of course I was on board when they mentioned they wanted to have their entire family apart of the engagement shoot! Well, of course when Mason had to be chained up while I was doing a couple shots with just V&K, he became SO upset … so naturally, I was upset hearing him upset. Haha! But you can truly tell how much he LOVES his momma and pops! I thought it was the cutest thing! Vince and Kristin really are adorable as you will see them featured below! 🙂 LOVED spending the time to get to know these two!!!!

Thank you Vince and Kristin for an awesome session at the wee hours of the morning! Especially for my first ever Georgetown cupcake! Even at 8 a.m., it was DELICIOUS! 🙂 You two are absolutely adorable and I look forward to keeping in touch as plans start to develop! xoxo
