It was a busy fall/winter season in Colorado and Virginia. 🙂 I was excited to conclude my season in Colorado with this sweet family at the Air Force Academy!! Really, you cannot go wrong with any location around Colorado because there is so much beauty all around! Mechelle and her family were so easy-going. Her sons + daughter-in-law were visiting in town all at one time for the Holiday, so it was the perfect opportunity to gather them for professional photos. It was so meaningful to Mechelle to have nice family portraits of her family.
During our time, I loved getting to know them! One son is in the Army and stationed in Texas while the other son and his wife know Colorado very well! They were all so much fun and laughed through 90% of the session. I really felt like we were all friends just hanging out together. 🙂 Mechelle and her husband connected with me through their neighbors who are mutual friends of ours (thank you, Lana Rodriguez!!!). 🙂 Despite it being a pretty chilly day, this family was down for anything! And other than the coats in the first part of the session, you would have no idea that I was dressed in gloves and a coat taking photos! Haha!
