Some things Jessica and Maxx enjoy together — Trips to Colorado, skiing, attending Broncos games, hiking, and dancing. We covered *almost* everything in this engagement session (except skiing and football) at Sapphire Point in Colorado! 🙂 They flew out from Virginia to have this season celebrated in the mountains. While I photograph many of my Virginia couples in the Shenandoah mountains, it was so refreshing to photograph in the Rocky Mountains! We started their session in downtown Breckenridge (you can view those photos HERE) and finished the other segment of their session at Sapphire Point. It was the perfect blend between mountain town and nature scenery!
Jessica wished she could be on the slopes (how fun would those photos be?!), but for obvious reasons, we chose this option. 🙂 That was the fun part of this session. We were celebrating two occasions — Engagement and pregnancy! I loved getting together with Maxx and Jessica and exploring around. Check out these views and precious moments!! I cannot wait for them to be in front of my camera again for their Virginia wedding this fall!!!
One funny story! Jessica requested if I could find a sign with “Dillon Lake” since Maxx’s last name is Dillon. After completing my mission, I realized I was calling Maxx “Dillon” throughout the session! Gah! It was just so engrained in me, but it was a good laugh because sometimes I would catch myself, and other times, they would laugh before I realized what I said. I definitely won’t forget their last name, that’s for sure. HA! What a fun and beautiful session!!!
Thank you!!
Thank you, Jessica and Maxx, for having me photograph your engagement/maternity session at Sapphire Point, Colorado! It was absolutely beautiful and you two were absolute troopers through the ice and the cold! I cannot wait to celebrate your big day later this year!!! CONGRATS!!
