Just hours before their flight back to the east coast, James and Claire woke up early to take some photos in the sunshine! If you saw their dreamy Dream Lake wedding photos from the day before, we didn’t even have the chance to change into Claire’s traditional attire because of the frigid temps! By the time we stopped hiking through the dense snow during that session, our bodies quickly adjusted to the 18-degree temps in April. Then whiteout conditions came upon us and we couldn’t even see the mountain views just behind them. So needless to say, their impromptu sunrise wedding photos at Rocky Mountain National Park WITH sunshine was a welcomed sight! Claire repurposed her flowers, and we made use of their traditional Vietnamese gowns after flying across the country with them.
James and Claire celebrated their wedding in Georgia this summer, and it was so fun celebrating this season with them during these pre-wedding portraits! Together, they are easygoing, romantic, sweet, and photogenic (of COURSE!). I loved that we managed to capture their story through picnics on the beach and adventures in the mountains. <3 Enjoy these last bits of photos from my time with James and Claire!
Flowers: Brewster’s Blooms (repurposed from the day before)
