Marcus and Sophia celebrated 12 years (!!!) of marriage this year, and I was excited to celebrate with them! When Sophia reached out to me, she told me that they never had professional wedding portraits taken — So they wanted to celebrate this milestone by taking wedding portraits at the Garden of the Gods. This session celebrated their ongoing commitment to each other, their family, and their life here in Colorado Springs. Sophia and Marcus have two ADORABLE children together, and they came dressed to the nines! Can we talk about how cute it must have been to dress up their littles in these outfits? I know I melted. 🙂

My husband works with Sophia, and before their session, he prompted she had one photogenic family. He wasn’t kidding! When I arrived, and they were straightening up their outfits, I admired how cute their children were in their darling outfits! Although, we were concerned about the weather just an hour before we met. This year is the most rainy season on record and so unpredictable! Fortunately for us, the storm went around us, and we continued with gorgeous light setting behind the mountains! Because it was an incredible evening, we stayed after the contract time because it kept getting better and better. 🙂 To say the least, I didn’t want this session to end! Thank you, Sophia and Marcus, for having me document this special tribute to your marriage. You have a GORGEOUS family!!! I cannot believe we made these wedding portraits at the Garden of the Gods happen around the threat of rain/storms during the most rainy season in Colorado! I loved getting to know you all during our time together, and I cannot wait to see you all again! Congrats to 12 years!!
