This wedding is all about the pink flowers! After all, Mason and Brooke planned their wedding date to happen during the cherry blossom/saucer magnolia bloom. Fortunately, the saucer magnolia tree they had their hearts set on for wedding portraits was still in full bloom—and I loved how the pink petals weren’t just overhead, but gently sprinkled on the ground too. It was such a magical sight! They definitely have a knack for choosing beautiful backdrops. Their fall engagement session on Skyline Drive was breathtaking, and their wedding at Tranquility Farm was just as dreamy!
Brooke & Mason’s Wedding Day
From Brooke’s boots to her floral invitation suite, her dreamy dress and veil, and even the intricate cake detailing—every element tied perfectly into their soft cherry blossom theme. When I arrived early to scout portrait locations, I couldn’t stop swooning over the pink magnolia blooms. And once Brooke stepped in front of that tree? Pure magic. Her flowy gown, with its delicate floral appliqué, looked like it was made to be photographed in that moment. And honestly, Brooke was glowing all day—truly radiant in every way.
There were so many beautiful details, both seen and felt. One that got me teary-eyed was the surprise she had for her dad—a childhood photo of her printed on the back of his tie. Cue the waterworks! Then during the reception, she honored her mom with a surprise bouquet dedication, a nod to the monthly flowers she gifts her. I told her I seriously need to step up my daughter game—Brooke is thoughtful on another level!
Together, Brooke and Mason made everyone feel loved. They handwrote personal thank-you notes for each guest and placed them at their seats. That kind of intentionality and southern hospitality carried through the whole day—from the cowhide rug branding during the ceremony (which they’ll display in their home!) to the cozy, mismatched chairs around the family-style reception tables in the barn.
The party was just as heartfelt and lively! A great mix of country hits, pop favorites, and Latin tracks had the dance floor packed all night. And yes, the grandparents absolutely stole the show getting low on the dance floor—those are the moments I live for!
It was a day full of joy, tears, laughter, and love—everything a wedding should be! <3
