I’ll be dreaming about this Spruce Mountain Ranch wedding for months to come. It was the most joyful, heartfelt day for Shane and Sarah—two people who radiate kindness, faith, and love. Truly, they deserved every ounce of celebration that came their way!
Their love story still makes me smile. Shane, a former football player turned college cheerleader, found his future wife in the cheer squad. Smart guy! 🙂 These two are the perfect match. Their shared love for God, family, friends, and each other is incredibly moving—and as you’ll see in the images below, completely infectious.
I met Shane and Sarah through the Wine & Nosh Show last year, and I’m so thankful our paths crossed! I secretly hope they announce a move to Colorado . 😉 With Shane’s brother owning a ranch in Colorado, it made perfect sense for them to tie the knot at Spruce Mountain Ranch, a venue that fit their roots and personalities.
One of the most memorable moments? Watching Shane and the guys rally to redirect the cattle that wandered too close to the ceremony space. Definitely a “ranch wedding” moment if I’ve ever seen one! And if that doesn’t paint the perfect picture, get this—after the wedding, they headed up to Shane’s brother’s ranch to help brand cattle before taking off on their honeymoon. So fun!!
Sarah & Shane’s Wedding Day
It was a sunny Thursday afternoon, and the atmosphere buzzed with excitement as Shane and Sarah spent time with their closest family and friends. Everyone was beyond thrilled—not just because the storms held off, but because these two are so loved.
Emotions ran high in the most beautiful way. Their families couldn’t imagine a more perfect addition to their lives, and the joy surrounding them was undeniable. One of the most touching moments came during Sarah’s vows:
“Falling in love with you wasn’t falling at all. It was walking into a house and knowing I’m home.”
Cue the tears… I had to wipe my eyes more than once just to see through my lens during those sentimental moments. Their ceremony was filled with so many meaningful details and a beautiful focus on faith and intentional love. Photographing these two was effortless—every smile, every glance, every laugh felt so genuine and full of heart.
The Party
When it came time to party, the energy was electric—as if the whole room became Shane and Sarah’s personal cheer squad! We did the trendy “table dash” and it was pure, chaotic fun. Everyone cheered them on as they raced around to take photos with each table (I’m officially a fan of this trend!). Someone always ends up lifting the bride and groom—and this crew didn’t disappoint. 🙂
The toasts and special dances were just as touching. One of my favorite moments was when Sarah shared a special dance with her mom and gifted her the bouquet—such a sweet and thoughtful tribute. And when the dance floor opened up, it was high-energy from the start. I even found myself dancing a little behind the camera as I documented the fun!
We wrapped up the night with the most epic bubble exit I’ve ever seen—I’m talking ALL the bubbles! It was a magical, joy-filled ending to a truly unforgettable day.
Shout out to the best man and matron of honor for being SO helpful throughout the day to make Shane and Sarah’s day special!! 🙂
