I’m so grateful for Chris and Natalie in my life! I remember chatting with them on the phone about a year ago thinking how excited I was to meet them officially. Just from our initial conversation, they sounded so sweet, genuine and adventurous! My expectations were exceeded because they are so down to earth. I mean, if I can hike up a very challenging mountain and still talk to them out of breath, that says something. 😉 Haha! I finally had the chance to meet them in Richmond, before they moved to Hawaii, back in March. We ran around downtown for their engagement portraits and had the best time! We promised that our adventures wouldn’t stop there. I was really excited when I booked a Hawaiian wedding and found that they were stationed on the same island! We made plans to at least hang out, but fortunately we had the opportunity to get together and take photos! So dreamy!!! While adventuring Hawaii, we got together for a hike on Koko Crater and ended with Boston pizza and beer. The Boston pizza in Hawaii ended up being an appropriate find on a late Saturday evening since Chris’ family comes from Massachusetts. It was a fun time, and I’m already planning to return! 😉

Have you ever experienced four seasons in one day? I can officially say I have! The funny thing is, Natalie mentioned on Thursday how she misses the four seasons. Chris and Natalie currently live in Hawaii (heaven, right?!), so their wedding day occurring during the fall season was the perfect setting! What they didn’t know was how the weather was going to be like. Sunny? Rainy? Overcast? Well, the funny thing is that they had all of that, plus more! The day started with mild temps and sunshine. Could’ve been mistaken for a September day! During the first look, it turned to overcast weather and the wind began to pick up. I actually loved playing with the wind because when the bridal party came out for photos, their dresses flowed so beautifully! Chris and Natalie decided to move the ceremony inside and thank goodness they did because it started to rain, sleet and even SNOW! After they had been pronounced as husband and wife, I noticed the sun was shining, and I knew there must be a rainbow outside! We quickly bolted out and caught the end of the rainbow!! So magical! After the family formals, we caught a gorgeous pink sky sunset! Talk about an incredible day!!!

Thank you, Chris and Natalie, for everything! I’m planning to visit you two in Hawaii soon! I love our time together and cannot wait to create more memories with you involving more hikes and Boston pizza. 😉 So happy for you both and enjoy your mini-moon in Colorado!!! XOXO!!!
