It was not that long ago when Marcelo, Christina and I met for their engagement session and then their wedding day arrived out of nowhere! I believe this is because August has always been that month that pops up out of nowhere … if you remember being in school and did not want August to come up because it was marking the end of summer and beginning of school. Well, I guess after graduation, it still carries through the years. This summer has been awesome, yet b-u-s-y to say the least! The busiest I have EVER been in my life! I’m sure I was not the only one thinking this as I have four weddings in two weekends back to back the beginning of this month. I’m sure that all of my brides this month have felt like their wedding planning period has just flown by the last couple months. It is an exciting time for these lovely brides, to say the least! 🙂

Marcelo and Christina’s wedding marked the first wedding of the month and I cannot say enough how great it was working with this couple! I love when not only is the bride excited about the wedding day, but I can clearly see the groom is enthusiastic about the special day! As you see below, the groom and of course the bride carried a smile before the ceremony to the dance floor! Such a pleasure photographing them together, especially when it came to the dancing! Marcelo, Christina and their family LOVED dancing! In fact, this was my very first wedding where the couple hired a club DJ … so the floor was bumping to say the least! And I noticed the chandelier above the dance floor was swinging all over the place … so I had a mini heart attack. Lol! Great seeing so many enthusiastic dancers that night! 🙂
