Kaye and I go back years ago when we met during the brutally hot days of MRD camp! I can say that I’m glad those days are over, but of course I miss the MRDs soooooo much!!! It really felt like a GIANT family … no matter the year throughout college! I am determined to go visit one of these days … it WILL happen! 🙂
This was my first time meeting Jeremy and I approve their relationship. 😉 Lol! But in all seriousness, they are SO adorable together! When I was guiding them around and instructing them … they just got it! I am so honored to have been able to have had this time together because it was not too long ago when we were suppose to have their engagement session when a huge rain storm came and ended up rescheduling. No one told me we were going to have another HUGE rain storm this past weekend! Lol! Because of our crazy schedules, we just went for it knowing that we would have to wing this! I do not do photos in the rain because of my equipment, so this was a one time deal. They even hired an umbrella holder for me! She was a LIFESAVER!!!

JEREMY & KAYE’S LOVE STORY
Jeremy and I first met at a small Christian school when he was in 4th grade and I was in 5th! He left that school the next year and our paths did not cross again until my family switched churches when I was in 8th or 9th grade, and our new church of choice just happened to be Jeremy’s church! We were friends for a long time and always hung out in Youth Group (not to mention, his sister has been one of my best friends for about 8 years). When it came time for my senior prom, I was searching for a date and he told me that if I couldn’t find one, he would be willing to go with me. When the time came, I needed someone, so he graciously went as my date and needless to say, his charming self swept me off my feet that night. We did not officially start dating until October of my freshman year at JMU, and we got engaged on May 25, 2013 on a Memorial Day Weekend family church retreat up in Pennsylvania. He asked me to marry him up on an overlook, while my mom was taking our picture in front of “the cross.” I have been blessed with such a sweet, handsome, and kind man! I cannot wait to marry this man in December!”
